When this tile is put in a linear chain, the pattern created is a deco-style string. Very suitable for a border in a shower, back-splash either in kitchen or bathroom. The background is mostly white with upper and lower blue lines. Because of its hand-painted nature, there might be small differences in size, weight and color. All of our Mexican tiles background is painted in ""Mexican white"", which is an off white, creamy color.DISCLAIMER:All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof.
